Side Tables
A private commission to develop bedside tables for a historical Cape Dutch cottage.
The client's only request was that they be large enough for an iPad and that they be Heritage Green. Apart from that, the brief was open.
The design response is a 'mini modernist tower' that is abstract and monochromatic enough to feel at home within the whitewashed walls of the cottage.
The floorplates of the towers act as shelves.
Powder coated mild steel.
